Deforestation

Deforstation can occur because of mis-management. This happens when forests are cleared by either logging or burning.Deforested regions typically have significant adverse soil erosion and can turn into a wasteland. This can be prevented by reforesting and having the government paying closer attention to this issue.

they are endangered because of us.human have been cutting down threir habitats and burning down forests in which they lived and also taking their food; bamboo. some people have also been poaching them and killing them in the wild for their skin, there is only about 1000 panadas left in the world and that's very bad and it's also very sad. panadas are endangered because people hunt them and chop down the bamboo trees to build homes. one of the most efficient and effective solution for helping the giant panada population is by growing bamboo in nurseries, and then planting them in the nabitat the primary problem of the panadas, this problem will be solved.

My Carbon Footprint

My family's ECP score is 999 and our annual carbon output is 118.7. We do a lot to help conserve energy, but our total is still so high because my father travels a lot. He needs to for work so it is impossible to limit the amount of travel he does. Other than that, we can change all of our light bulbs to energy efficient bulbs and limit the amount of heat we emit.

Effects Forestry and construction have on Rivers

After an area gets clearcut the river gets alot dirtier liek the one on the left because The trees roots support the sides of the river so they dont fall into the river also runoff doesnt get filtered it just picks up dirt and puts it all into the river. the river on the right is probably coming from an area without a human presence
habitat destruction is one of the major effect of mismanagement of the agriculture and logging resources. Habitat destruction is the process in which natural habitat is rendered fuctionally unable to support the species present. habitat destruction by human activity mainly for the purpose of harvesting natural resources for industryproduction and urbanization. clearing habitats for agriculture is the principal cause of habitat destruction.

for the soluiton :
1. considering the many irreplaceable ecosystem services provided by natural habitats,
2. protecting remaining intact sections of naturak habitat,
3. educating the public about the importance of natural habitat and biodiversity

Endangered Species

The picture above is of a Panda!!! The main reason for the endangerment of the panda is because of habitat loss. Humans have been cutting down their forrests where they live and killing their main source of food, the bamboo. Also, some poach panda's for their fur. There are only aprox. 1000 panda's left in the world. Some solutions to help the panda would be captive breeding, sanctuaries and of course donating to organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Deforestation is clearing earths forests on a massive scale, often resulting in damage to the quality of land. Forests still cover about 30 percent of the world's land area. The worlds rain forest could completely vanish in a hundred years at the current rate of deforestation.

Agricultural Managment Kramr

In this picture he is spraying toxic pesticides on the plants. Pesticdies are toxic to humans we can get diseases such as cancer, prostate cancer, and diareha. A way to avoid this is to eat organic food and buy fresh local foods or plant your own garden and don't spray it with toxic materials.

This is a picture of mismangement in a coniferous forest. Leaving those logs behind, is awful. It clogs the rivers leaving it hard for animals to use and harder to adapt to these awful conditions. For a solution, the loggers could reclaim the land to make it more suitable for the animals to live. Taking away the logs leaving a nice flow for the river.

Fishing

The mismanagement of fishing is a very serious matter. Some fishing idustries let out mass amounts of nets in order to catch fish as they swim into the net. This method of fishing is extremely harmful to the population of fish in the water and is majorly depleting how many fish are available. With the mismanagement of fish comes the lack of fish available for food for both humans and other mammals. Unless fishing companies become aware of the effect that they are adding to the fish population - there will be no more fish.
