Example of Affects of Acid rain on Statues
Acid rain has the ability to corrode stone and metal, the most durable of materials. Old buildings, monuments and tombstones show signs of acidic corrosion and deterioration. Acid rain speeds up natural weathering caused by rain, sun, snow and wind.
