Bhutan, shakes Assam


A 6.3-magnitude earthquake shook Bhutan, killing at least seven people when their houses collapsed and damaged buildings across the region. The earthquake his the north west regions of Guwahati in Assam on monday around 2:23 pm, sending people running into the streets and cracking some buildings. It is the fifth time an earthquake has hit the northeast region of India within a months time. The earthquake was caused by two continental plates colliding in the Himalayas.
