Earthquake Kills 57+ In Indonesia (CIANJUR)
A monstorous earthqauke with a magnitude of 7.0 struck a Indonesian Island on Septmber, 3, 2009 killing more then 50 people and injuring more then 500. The earthquake hit a landslide in the village of Cianjur, it completely destroyed at least 11 homes with at least 36 people in them. Rescuers were limited to only their hands only some could be rescued others were left to die the rescuers could not get them because of fallen objects on the houses. The earthquake caused major damage to roads aid could not be provided to victims and large machines could not make it through to the roads to clear them with fallen trees and mud everywhere. The quake also destroyed buildings and shut off electricity making it harder to find victims and lost family members. The Damage began from the west coast of the island and spread out to the east coast. The entire island felt the shock of the earthquake.
