landslide

Landslide in San Salvador, El Salvador. this landslid was caused by a large earthquake. Large amounts of damage was done to houses and the hillside, to prevent this tragidy they should have a had enginers look at the hilside before they started to build since it appears to be a steap sandy hill. they could have also had retaining walls but i dont think that would help very much in a situation like this.
