The picture above is of Sea Stacks. Sea Stacks are created when waves refract around the headland. Hydraulic action and corrosion erode the headland and create blowholes and arches. The water than splashes up and erodes the top of the arch away so the arch and headland are separated. As a result a sea stack is created.

    Anywho, There are lots of these down at Kaloli point where I lived in Hawaii. 'Tis interesting to know how they were formed.
