Anywho, the particular image exhibited here shows three objects; first off, a Cirque at the top of the image, a recessional moraine in the middle, and then a medial moraine near the bottom. As the glacier recedes, it leaves the recessional moraine, but as it goes back it creates a new medial moraine, thus having the strange order.
