Golden Toad

This is the Golden Toad, until recently found in the high altitude reigons of Central America. They lay their eggs in shallow puddles that are always in danger of evaporation, but until now the misty climate and frequent spring thunder storms replenished the puddles and kept their eggs from drying out. This is no longer the case, and a Golden Toad has not been sighted in years. There is a possibility that they are already extinct, but they are a highly elusive species that weren't even discovered until the sixties, meaning there still may be some in the mountains of Costa Rica. It's unlikely, though.
