this is a stone angel that is being detereated by acid rain. The normal erosional proceses of weathering have been excelerated greatly by the acidity levels in the rian. Acid rain also has the ability to inderectly kill forests, the rain in itself can't kill it but by demageing root systems and leaves the groth of the forest is stunted and the next big wind can distroy it.
