Frontal Percipitation


On the left side is an example of a cold front moving towards warm air and pushing it on top to form a Cumulonimbus cloud that creates heavy short lived rain.
On the right side is an example of a Warm front that slides ontop of the cold air forming clouds that create light rain that lasts a long period of time ( 1-2 days)
