This is a picture of Hurricane Ike. It was a catigory four hurricane that hit Galveston, Texas on September 9, 2008. Even though it was a cat 4 hurricane, it had a cat 5 storm surge that came along with it. Ike was blamed for nearly 200 deaths, most coming from haiti and cuba however. Estimated cost to the U.S. was 24 billion dollars!
